Director: Philip Doherty
This dark comedy is the first feature film from the award-winning playwright Philip Doherty. The film follows Jimmy, played by Cavan native Aaron Monaghan (MAZE, Assassin’s Creed), on his road to redemption after returning to his hometown.
Stuck in a Groundhog Day-like purgatory, Jimmy embarks on a sacrificial and outlandish journey to rid himself of his guilt and shame from the past, ultimately redeeming himself through love.

Breaking Out is the remarkable story of Cork born singer-songwriter Fergus O'Farrell, the charismatic voice of Interference, one of the most compelling and influential bands to emerge from the Irish music scene in the 1990's.
Fergus was best known for his timeless song "Gold" which featured in the soundtrack to Once, the Oscar winning film and multi-Tony-award-winning musical. Despite being diagnosed with muscular dystrophy at a young age, through it all, Fergus had to keep singing. His unique talent and love for life inspired a generation of songwriters even as his own was slipping away.
Hailed by Screen Daily as "deeply affecting" and "a privilege to watch", this intimate journey into the heart and soul of the late Fergus O'Farrell was filmed over ten years.

An observational documentary set in post conflict Belfast’s Ardoyne district, where a marginalized, working-class community has for generations been plagued by poverty, drugs and guns.
This film charts the dream of Headmaster Kevin McArevey and his dedicated visionary team, illustrating how critical thinking and pastoral care can empower and encourage children to see beyond the boundaries and limitations of their own community. We see how philosophy can encourage them to question the mythologies of war and of violence, and challenge the narratives of their community.
